JBS Leadership Roundup featuring Director of the Centennial Institute and Former President of the Colorado Senate, John Andrews

The John Ben Shepperd Public Leadership Institute is pleased to announce the topic and guest speaker for a special John Ben Shepperd Leadership Roundup. The title is: “America into the Sunset? No Way!” The lecture will feature the director of the Centennial Institute, a public policy think tank at Colorado Christian University, and chairman of the annual Western Conservative Summit, John Andrews.

Andrews previously served as President of the Colorado Senate, helped enact the Taxpayer’s Bill of Rights, and founded the Independence Institute as well as the State Policy Network.

He was a speechwriter for President Nixon, an education adviser for President Reagan, an appointee in both Bush administrations – and he ran for Governor of Colorado as the Republican nominee in 1990.

John grew up in the Colorado mountains, graduated from Principia College, and served as a US Navy submarine officer.

He and Donna, his wife of 48 years, have three grown children as well as a grandson in sixth grade, Ian Michael, who will become a Republican registered voter in 2020.
