Shepperd Edge
It is not enough to “know” about leadership because leadership is not simply theory—it is action. Leaders must know what to expect and how to respond to a variety of challenges. The Shepperd Edge program is designed to teach leadership principles to college and high school students ideas through educational and practical sessions building skills, knowledge, and new relationships. Topics include the necessary ethical standards for leaders, the responsibility of service, and basic tools for effective leadership.
The John Ben Shepperd Public Leadership Institute is funded by the State of Texas and private contributions so that it can promote leadership training for young Texans. Guides for facilitators and handouts for students are provided through the links below at no charge to the user. Please feel free to use any of these materials to teach leadership to your students today!
